School Holiday Arts and Craft Activities in Worthing

Every school holidays we run fun arts and crafts activities for kids to do at our beachfront studio at East Beach, Worthing!

It’s an awesome location for ‘crafting with a view’, directly opposite the sea, kids can enjoy the sound, smell and sight of the ocean whilst personalising a T-shirt, pencil case, cap, door sign or slapband to take home - and we’re right next to Coast Cafe so adults can enjoy an all important coffee or snack and attempt an uninterrupted conversation whilst the children have fun. Yay!

We provide bookable children’s school holiday arts and crafts sessions in Worthing in July and August, and bookable group sessions any saturday (perfect for playdates or beach wanders with a little activity thrown in) and we also welcome impromptu ‘drop in no need to book’ sessions if you’re passing by our studio on Worthing beachfront and we’re not busy. We’re right next to the Splashpad and in front of the playground so that’s lots of activities to create a really fun day out.

This summer holidays we will be offering children the opportunity to decorate two items in each session at our Worthing beachfront studio. It’s a great activity for kids to do which leaves them with items to show off with pride and take home afterwards!

When are the Summer Holiday sessions?

We currently have sessions on 26th, 27th July and 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th August

Who are the craft sessions suitable for?
Unfortunately our sessions are only suitable for age 3 and over. Other than that, any child at all is welcome - we’ve found that absolutely every child gets something out of the process whether or not they usually show an interest in arts and crafts!

How do they work?
The sessions can accommodate a maximum of four children. Adults must stay in sight as this is not a drop off session, but are welcome to grab a drink from Coast and enjoy a catch up out front whilst the kids get crafty!

What can children decorate?

Children can choose to personalise two items, one from each group

GROUP 1

a pencil case, t shirt or cap

GROUP 2

a slapband bracelet, door sign or bookmark/bag tag. 

We ask you to confirm what your child wants to decorate on booking if you can so we make sure we have what they want in stock but this is not necessary if they aren’t fussy and you’re happy to confirm on the day

How do I book?

Drop us an email at hello@meshirtkits.com with your preferred date and an idea of what time would suit you best. We will confirm that your chosen slot is available and send you a form to complete with your child’s details and requests and the details to make payment. We do ask for payment in advance to secure the slots.

What if there is a group of kids that want to do it together?

That’s perfect! Book in for 4 children that know each other and they can have a session to themselves. Ideal if you can dedicate one parent to deal with the booking and details but not essential.
